Waycross, Geogia (July 12, 2022) – Ellianos Coffee’s Kristy King-Foreman was identified by franchise research firm, Franchise Business Review, as being one of 2022’s Franchise Rock Stars.

King-Foreman was selected from over 30,000 franchisees, representing more than 300 brands that participated in Franchise Business Review’s research.

The Franchise Rock Stars were nominated by their franchise brand’s leadership in one of eight categories as franchisees who set admirable examples when it comes to leadership, business acumen, financial and professional success, and contributing to their community. Categories included: Giving Back, Women, Millennials, Veterans, Family-Owned, “Freshmen”, Top-Performers, and Multi-Unit Owners.

“There are thousands of inspiring franchise owners who are living their dreams of business ownership every day. Not only that, many of them exemplify a real commitment to being leaders, mentors and brand ambassadors in their communities,” said Michelle Rowan, president & COO of Franchise Business Review. “Each year it gets harder and harder to narrow down the list, but the franchisees recognized this year truly stand out as exceptional examples of achieving success within the franchise model. We are thrilled to recognize these individuals as Franchise Rock Stars.”

Ellianos leadership nominated King-Foreman for her incredible charitable acts and dedication to giving back to her community. Kristy and her baristas have hosted fundraisers for local non-profits, Awareness Days, parking lot parties, essay-writing contests, and much more for the Waycross area. Kristy loves serving others and is passionate about helping her community be a better place to work and live.

Mallory Pruitt, Ellianos Executive Director, commented, “Kristy is an incredible example of what it means to be an Ellianos franchisee – community-oriented, passionate, and motivated to lead her baristas in the same way. It is evident that she truly cares for her community and wishes to see Waycross become the best it can be. We are so proud of Kristy and the entire Waycross team for their years of service to their community.”

In a recent interview, Kristy explains that she made a commitment to pour back into the community that supports her business, saying, “I feel like my obligation is to invest in the people who spend their money at my store. I believe we are partners with our customers. I am very passionate about serving people, whether serving them a great cup of coffee or serving their personal needs.” Kristy volunteers outside of work with several non-profit organizations and even created a community project that benefits Ronald McDonald House Charities of Jacksonville. She goes on to state, “I want people to know that when they spend their money at my business, they can be confident that I am reinvesting money and time back into them!”
